"Art has always been my refuge, especially during my stressful university exams. I would spend hours sketching or painting, letting each stroke help me unwind and focus. Once, I even considered setting up a small stall at the Bournemouth Town Centre Market with a friend to sell my paintings and raise funds for vulnerable communities in Sri Lanka, though it never came to fruition.

I believe creativity is a gift, one that carries a responsibility to make a change. This belief stayed with me and led me to think of rural artists whose talent far surpasses my own. Sustellence grew from this very idea of giving artists an opportunity to earn a fair living.
