My name is Thusith, and I am from Athweltota, Mathugama. I recently graduated from the Faculty of Visual Arts at the University of Visual and Performing Arts. 

My family includes my mother, father, and younger sister. My father works as a police officer, and my sister is in her second year at the Faculty of Law at the University of Colombo. It is hard for us to manage all our educational and living expenses on our father’s income alone. 

To support myself and my art, I work as a wall artist and as a PickMe bicycle rider. Even with these jobs, it is still very difficult to afford and organise my own art exhibitions. 

I am seeking support to become a professional artist. I have attached some of my artwork for you to see.
